In a way, this made Cap feel her loss in a way that we’ve mostly seen Peggy feel Cap’s loss on the show. She lived in this amnesiac state until she reunited with Cap years later. It was a star-crossed romance to be sure as some stray shrapnel robbed Peggy of her memory.
